Written during Oct 20, 2010 UkuBusters Head Lice Removal appointment

1. Initial lice Shampoo, Rinse, and store bought Gel to comb out nits in my 13 year old daughter’s long thick hair. Purchased the above combs in the photo. Sprayed the mattress covers, pillows, car seats with the lice spray.

2. Seven to eight days later , I used the other 1/2 of the lice shampoo bottle to wet hair and tried to comb the hair with the above bamboo, and other combs. (  useless combs)

Still, fifteen live adult bugs are combed out of her hair ( meaning the first application did not kill them.)  There are too many nits ( white eggs and brown eggs) to go through.
I spent 1 1/2 hours trying to pull out the eggs from just the right temple to right ear alone!
( The nit combs I had purchased, did not pull out the eggs.)

I spent a total of $35 and four hours for nothing. She was still infested as we all were.

3. I called the Doctors office for prescription strength insecticidal shampoo. The receptionist ( a friend) said don’t even use the prescription insecticide, but instead, call Karen Tilley of UkuBusters. At first I was hesitant, as I did not know if she really could cure us of lice. (  2 girls and 1 woman all with very fine, thick hair), but Karen did.

I feel relieved and now I don’t have to fear head lice again. Armed with my special nit comb, and ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, I can BATTLE AND PREVENT head lice again on my own in the future. ( but I may just as soon call for a UkuBusters  head lice removal service appointment again)

In the 2 weeks before the UkuBusters appointment,  I had done 12 loads of laundry, using hot water, 12 loads of dryer, and HOURS of swearing, shame and frustration. It was all a waste, as we were still had plenty of bugs and eggs in our hair. I highly recommend calling to get an appointment with UkuBusters so you can get cured of head lice. No poisons either.
